What is a Managed Security Service?
Put simply we take care of protecting your network for you. By combining best of class security appliances from Fortinet with comprehensive monitoring and management technology and the experience and skill of InLine’s experienced datacenter personnel, we can provide a secure umbrella of protection for your network from Internet Borne threats like Viruses, Intrusions and Spyware. In addition we can control your employees use of the internet to limit access to offensive, non-productive, or potentially liable web sites and services. Finally we will gather extensive minute by minute information about the activity and health of your connection to the outside world allowing deep inspection in the case of an intrusion or other event.
How Does it Work?
A properly sized appliance is deployed to each customer site with Internet Access. This appliance provides the first line of defense against all threats. The client doesn’t have to worry about updating or maintaining these devices, and if a configuration or other change is needed a simple call to InLine’s 24x7 Help Desk will get the job done. This appliance constantly updates our Network Operations Center of its status and detailed information about the data traversing it. On a weekly basis you are automatically e-mailed summary reports of pertinent information about the status and health of your network. This information is also reviewed by InLine’s trained datacenter staff for any network anomalies of concern. At any time the full set of over 200 reports is available for view from your own secure web portal anywhere you have an Internet connection. On a monthly basis we will run a basic vulnerability scan of the outside of your network to apprise you of any serious vulnerabilities that may have developed, and this information along with an evaluation on the state of your network will be provided in a succinct monthly e-mail.

InLine has InControl options for any size organization from the smallest home office up to organizations with dozens of locations and hundreds of employees. We even offer a management only option for organizations that already have appropriate Fortinet devices deployed.
Options
Enhanced Weekly Reporting Package
This Option increases the frequency of network evaluation reporting from Monthly to Weekly and provides for up to 2 hours per month of consultation with a Senior Network Engineer to go over results or questions.
Weekly External Vulnerability Scan
This Option increases the frequency of external vulnerability scans and reporting from Monthly to Weekly and provides for up to 2 hours per month of consultation with a Senior Network Engineer to go over results or questions.
Active Directory Integration
This Option allows the integration of Active Directory with the InControl Service to allow for viewing of resulting data by discreet username where available. This also allows a more detailed forensic analysis of traffic patterns to be performed in the case of an event.
Quarterly Security Review and Consulting Package.
This option provides for a Quarterly detailed security review by a senior network engineer of the firewall configuration and activity logging. This is followed up with an one day in-person consulting session with client sponsors to go over results and consult on any measures required to remediate or further secure the protected network.
